Job summary

M.C. Dean in Tysons, VA is seeking an Engineer 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You will contribute to design, integration, operation and maintenance of electronic security solutions for federal, local and commercial customers in high-growth markets.

The role emphasizes system programming, performance analysis, problem resolution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, compliant networking infrastructure and project lifecycle support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure delivery of security systems meeting standards.
• Lead technical submittals (Product Data, O&M, Warranty) for security projects in collaboration with engineers, PMs, and field techs.
• Support lifecycle of large-scale construction projects.
• Coordinate designs across teams to meet customer standards.
• Provide in-person site surveys and field troubleshooting/commissioning support.
