Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc is seeking an Engineer to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) team.

You will design, engineer, integrate, operate and maintain electronic security services including access control, video surveillance, biometric authentication and IT systems for federal, local, and commercial clients. In this role, you will manage requirements, coordinate with project teams, and lead complex projects through design excellence processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 2+ years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity, with SE services for physical security and IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage system requirements to ensure security projects meet client and data center standards.
• Prepare technical submittals (Product Data, O&M, Warranty) for security projects and coordinate with engineers, PMs, and field staff.
• Support lifecycle of large-scale construction projects and manage multiple designs to meet customer standards.
• Lead design reviews and client-facing sessions, develop design standards, and mentor project teams.
• Coordinate with contractors/trade groups on security drawings and installations.
• Track BOMs, RFIs, revisions, and submittals throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide site surveys and field troubleshooting/commissioning support.
