Job summary

Fivetran is hiring a Sales Engineering Specialist - Security to join our global team. You will address security questionnaires, participate in infosec calls with customers, and work with internal SRE and Product teams to ensure platform security.

You will bring 3+ years in security/IT within complex environments and have strong cloud and on-premise networking experience, including Kubernetes, Docker, SSH, VPN, and PrivateLink.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a security administrator, backend engineer, field CISO, or IT services within an enterprise or similarly complex environment.
• Extensive expertise with modern cloud and on-premise network architectures, connectivity mechanisms (SSH, Reverse SSH, VPN, PrivateLink), and data security.
• Ability to effectively communicate Fivetran's detailed security posture and influence security audiences at all levels.
• Curiosity to learn and assimilate technical information quickly, enthusiasm to share and teach others.

Responsibilities

• Support sales and field sales engineering teams with deep technical knowledge of Fivetran's security operations and platform features.
• Deliver timely and accurate responses to prospect and customer security questionnaires using internal tooling.
• Collaborate with Legal and AppSec to maintain internal libraries for security questionnaires.
• Lead documentation and internal enablement efforts to scale specialist knowledge across the department.
• Work with Product and Engineering to align solutions to customer needs.
• Engage with prospects and customers on security architecture reviews and compliance discussions.
