Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a senior technical program manager specializing in security to lead vulnerability management across a multi-cloud engineering stack. You will bridge security and product teams, shape roadmaps, and drive initiatives across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Based in Oakland with a hybrid work model, you will influence tooling choices, automate security processes, and mentor engineers while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in technical program management with a focus on security engineering and cloud security.
• Proven ability to deliver complex security initiatives using PM methodologies and best practices.
• Experience collaborating with product teams, SRE/QE engineers, and developers to embed security.
• Ability to drive automation and tooling for faster, secure delivery and shift-left initiatives.
• Experience defining roadmaps and risk-based security strategies across multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage security programs across engineering, infrastructure, and applications.
• Collaborate with Security and Engineering teams to identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Define and drive roadmaps for proactive security using AI and risk assessment.
• Establish and lead a code scanning and dependency management program.
• Advocate for tools and solutions that support shift-left security in the development lifecycle.
