Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a Sales Engineering Specialist - Security to join our global team. You will partner with sales and field engineers to address customers' security needs and deliver timely responses to security questionnaires.

You will collaborate with Legal, AppSec, Product, and Engineering to ensure our platform security meets customer expectations and industry standards, while staying current on emerging security trends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in security administration or related enterprise IT.
• Strong cloud and on‑prem networks, SSH, VPN, PrivateLink.
• Ability to communicate security posture across levels.
• Interest in data, security, analytics, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Experience with trust centers and security questionnaire automation.
• Familiarity with Java, SQL, Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support sales teams with deep security knowledge of platform.
• Respond to security questionnaires accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with Legal and AppSec to maintain internal security libraries.
• Lead documentation and enablement to scale security knowledge.
• Coordinate with Product and Engineering to align solutions.
• Engage in security architecture reviews and compliance discussions.
• Stay current with new security technologies and trends.
