Job summary

Salesforce is building a brand-new Professional Services Security Assurance team. As a hands-on security expert, you will deliver high‑impact engagements, translate risks into actionable postures, and help secure deployments at scale.

You will lead security assessments across web, mobile, API, cloud, and AI-enabled apps, work with customers and engineers, and help shape secure development practices within the PSSA program.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Application Security, Product Security, or Security Consulting.
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, API Security Top 10, and common attack techniques.
• Experience communicating findings to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements with in-depth security assessments across web, mobile, API, cloud, and AI-enabled apps.
• Perform threat modeling to identify attack vectors and recommend security controls balancing security and usability.
• Develop clear security assessment reports with risk ratings and remediation guidance for technical and executive audiences.
• Serve as trusted security advisor, offering practical remediation guidance and best practices.
• Collaborate with Professional Services to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and enhance assessment methodologies, automation, and tooling to improve quality and scale.
• Define technical security standards, reference architectures, and secure development guidelines with internal teams and customers.
• Research evolving threats and technologies to continuously improve assessment methodologies.
• Build strong customer relationships through clear communication and leadership during engagements.
