Job summary

Salesforce is building a brand new Professional Services Security Assurance (PSSA) team to deliver high-impact security engagements directly to customers, translating complex risks into actionable security postures.

As a founding hands-on technical member of the Security Assurance team within our Security Practice, you will shape methodologies, deliver secure deployments, and mentor future team members across web, API, cloud, and AI-enabled applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Application Security, Product Security, or Security Consulting.
• Hands-on experience performing security assessments, including threat modeling, code reviews, and pentesting.
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, API Security Top 10, and secure development practices.
• Experience with cloud security reviews across web, API, and AI-enabled applications.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements by performing in-depth, high-quality security assessments of web, mobile, API, cloud, and AI-enabled applications.
• Conduct threat modeling exercises to identify potential attack vectors, evaluate business risk, and recommend security controls.
• Develop comprehensive security assessment reports that clearly communicate findings, risk ratings, and remediation recommendations.
• Provide practical remediation guidance, security best practices, and improve overall security posture for applications and services.
• Collaborate with the professional services org to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle.
