Salesforce, Inc. is forming a new Professional Services Security Assurance (PSSA) team.

As a hands-on Security Architect Lead, you will deliver high-impact security engagements across web, mobile, API, cloud, and AI-enabled applications, guiding customers toward secure-by-design deployments. You will perform architecture reviews, threat modeling, code reviews, and penetration testing; translate findings into actionable remediation plans; and help shape security standards and tooling for scale

Qualifications

• Senior: 5+ years in Application Security, Product Security, or Security Consulting
• Lead: 8+ years in Application Security, Product Security, or Security Consulting
• Hands-on security assessments including architecture/design reviews, threat modeling, secure code reviews, penetration testing, and cloud security reviews
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, API Security Top 10, and common attack techniques
• Experience with modern app architectures: web apps, APIs, microservices, containers, cloud-native environments, and AI-enabled apps
• Experience communicating findings, risk, and remediation to technical and executive stakeholders
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or C#

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements with in-depth security assessments across web, mobile, API, cloud, and AI-enabled applications
• Conduct threat modeling to identify attack vectors and balance security with usability and business goals
• Develop assessment reports with findings, risk ratings, and remediation recommendations
• Act as trusted security advisor, providing practical guidance and best practices
• Collaborate with Professional Services to integrate security across the software development lifecycle
• Develop and enhance assessment methodologies, automation, and tooling for consistency and scalability
• Define technical security standards, reference architectures, and secure development guidelines
• Research emerging threats and technologies to continually improve assessments
• Build strong customer relationships through clear communication and leadership
