Job summary

Salesforce seeks a hands-on security expert to join the founding Professional Services Security Assurance team. You will deliver high-impact security engagements to customers, translating complex risks into actionable security postures across web, mobile, API, cloud, and AI-enabled apps.

You will conduct threat modeling, architecture reviews, secure code reviews, and penetration testing, while guiding remediation and shaping secure development standards with the Security Practice.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Application Security, Product Security, or Security Consulting.
• Hands-on security assessments including architecture reviews, threat modeling, secure code reviews, and penetration testing.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, API Security Top 10, and relevant attack techniques.
• Experience with modern architectures: web apps, APIs, microservices, containers, cloud-native environments, and AI-enabled apps.
• Ability to communicate findings to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Strong customer-facing consulting skills.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or C#.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead security engagements by performing in-depth assessments of web, mobile, API, cloud, and AI-enabled apps, including architecture reviews and threat modeling.
• Develop actionable remediation recommendations and present risk-based findings to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Provide practical security guidance and best practices to customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with Professional Services to integrate security throughout the SDLC from design to deployment.
• Contribute to methods, tooling, and reference architectures to improve assessment quality and scale.
