Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a strategic leader to own and accelerate the Search efforts across New Verticals (Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol and Retail). You will define and run product initiatives, working with Product, Engineering, Data Science and Design to deliver high-impact experiences that improve search relevance and conversion.

A hybrid work model is in place, with some in-person days and flexible office options.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in high-performance settings (tech, operations, strategy, banking, or related).
• 2+ years of experience managing high-performing teams.
• Ability to reason from first principles and build scalable solutions.
• AI-native mindset; capable of leveraging tools like Claude, Cursor, Gemini or Copilot to automate tasks.
• Comfort working at both strategic and execution levels, and leading cross-functional teams.
• Customer-focused with strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Define, execute and optimize product initiatives for the New Verticals search experience.
• Lead a cross-functional team with Product, Engineering, Data Science and Design.
• Assess impact and iterate using data to improve search relevance and conversion.
• Deliver initiatives with a systems-thinking approach and first-principles problem solving.
• Work in a hybrid model with occasional in-person collaboration.
