Job summary

DoorDash’s New Verticals team is seeking a senior leader to head Search across Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol and Retail. You’ll define, execute and optimize product initiatives to help customers quickly find what they want, working with product, engineering, and data science to launch faster experiences.

You’ll leverage data to measure impact, own a small team, and operate across strategic and hands-on levels in a hybrid environment with in-person days quarterly.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in high-performance environments.
• 2+ years of experience managing high-performing teams.
• Experience solving problems from first principles.
• Comfort with AI tools and automation (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Gemini, Copilot).
• Ability to operate at both high-level strategy and detailed execution.

Responsibilities

• Define, execute and optimize product initiatives across New Verticals Search.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Data Science to launch faster shopping experiences.
• Dive into data to measure impact and identify opportunities to improve search relevance and conversion.
• Manage a small team and report to the Director of New Verticals Strategy & Operations.
• Lead cross-functional efforts across Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol and Retail.
