Job summary

Primary Talent Partners is seeking a Lead Scrum Master / Agilist for a 12-month contract in Charlotte, NC. The role supports AI-enabled product teams across Telecom and Infrastructure, starting with the TINA AI chatbot and Cloud teams.

You will lead agile ceremonies, coach teams, remove impediments, and partner with Product Owners and engineering to drive measurable business value. This is a W2 contract with ACA-compliant supplemental enrollment available and no PTO.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or seven years of relevant experience.
Five or more years of experience with product, project, delivery, or Agile practices.
Three or more years as Scrum Master/Agilist/Delivery Lead/Coach.
CSM/PSM I or equivalent certification.
Experience facilitating Agile delivery for technical teams and resolving impediments.
Strong written, verbal, facilitation, Jira, and Confluence skills.

Responsibilities

Own agile operating rhythm: stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives.
Coach teams in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and value-focused delivery; set working agreements and definitions.
Identify and track impediments, risks, and dependencies with enterprise partners.
Partner with Product Owners on backlog refinement and sprint goals while supporting backlog processes.
Maintain delivery metrics in Jira/Confluence to guide improvement and transparency.
Facilitate cross-team communication with stakeholders and leadership updates.
