Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Satellite Systems Engineer, Lead, to drive the requirements lifecycle for national security space programs. You will lead trades and evaluations, coordinate across government and contractor teams, and ensure system designs meet mission needs and baselines.

The role requires deep DoD space domain experience, the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders, and a Secret clearance. A bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s preferred for advanced positions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of systems engineering on DoD or national security space systems.
• 5+ years in satellite architecture, payloads, bus subsystems, or space vehicle integration/operations.
• 5+ years in major program reviews (SRR, SDR, SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, PCA).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirements lifecycle.
• Support government trade studies and acquisition documentation.
• Guide technical evaluations of contractor proposals.
• Oversee contractor execution to ensure alignment with mission needs and baselines.
