Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to translate satellite mission needs into technical specifications and to support Agile design, development, integration and deployment of a mission management software for proliferated satellite constellations.

You will define requirements, scope program increments, create architectures, and guide teams through design, test, and deployment while ensuring cybersecurity and system accreditation for classified cloud-based infrastructures.

Qualifications

8+ years of systems engineering in complex satellite systems or cloud-based architectures.
Technical lead experience across mission software development and system architectures.
Experience delivering complex software and developing requirements, interfaces, test plans, and deployment plans.
Experience with MBSE, Modeling & Simulation, and cybersecurity practices.

Responsibilities

Lead systems engineering from requirements through production for a classified defense program.
Define requirements, scope program increments, and plan backlogs/sprints.
Develop architectural approaches and guide teams in high-velocity Agile development.
Ensure system accreditation and secure delivery of software to cloud infrastructures.
