Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Satellite Systems Engineer, Lead to shape requirements for DoD/national security space programs. You will guide trade studies, support acquisition documentation, and evaluate contractor proposals while coordinating across government and contractor teams.

You will oversee end-to-end lifecycle activities and help ensure system designs meet mission needs and program goals in a challenging, mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of systems engineering on DoD or national security space systems.
• 5+ years of satellite architecture, payload systems, bus subsystems, or space vehicle integration/operations.
• 5+ years with major program reviews (SRR, SDR, SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, PCA).
• Experience leading requirements development activities and acquisition documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirements lifecycle and acquisition documentation.
• Support government trade studies and technical evaluations of contractor proposals.
• Oversee contractor execution to verify designs align with mission needs and program goals.
