Qualifications

• 10+ years of systems engineering experience on DoD or national security space systems.
• 5+ years of satellite architecture, payloads, subsystems, or space vehicle integration/operations.
• 5+ years with major program reviews (SRR, SDR, SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, PCA).
• Experience leading requirements development activities, CONOPS refinement, requirements derivation, allocation, verification planning, and baseline management.
• Experience conducting trade studies for complex space system capabilities, including alternatives analysis and risk evaluation.
• Experience integrating capability needs into acquisition documentation (specs, SRS, RFP volumes).
• Experience supporting technical evaluations of contractor proposals (criteria, compliance, strengths/weaknesses).
• Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirements lifecycle for space programs.
• Support government trade studies and ensure capabilities are captured in acquisition docs.
• Guide technical evaluation of contractor proposals and assess strengths/weaknesses.
• Oversee contractor execution to ensure designs meet mission needs and program goals.
• Align system designs and implementation with technical baselines and mission requirements.
• Deliver resilient, modernized satellite capabilities to address evolving threats.
