Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a seasoned Satellite Systems Engineer to lead end-to-end requirements for a GPS program office in a DoD national security space context. You will translate mission needs into technical requirements, guide trade studies, and evaluate contractor proposals, influencing acquisition strategies and program outcomes.

The role requires deep experience in space systems, architecture, and program reviews, with TS/SCI/Secret clearances.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in systems engineering for DoD or national security space systems.
• 5+ years in satellite architecture, payload subsystems, or space vehicle integration/operations.
• 5+ years in major program reviews (SRR, SDR, SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, PCA).
• Experience leading requirements development activities, including CONOPS refinement and baseline management.
• Experience trade studies for complex space system capabilities.
• Experience integrating capability needs into acquisition documentation (specs, SRS, RFPs).
• Experience supporting technical evaluations of contractor proposals.
• Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirements lifecycle for GPS program office.
• Support government trade studies and acquisition documentation.
• Guide the technical evaluation of contractor proposals.
• Oversee contractor execution to verify designs meet mission needs and baselines.
• Collaborate with Booz Allen, government personnel, and partners to deliver satellite capabilities.
