Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a part-time Key Holder in Spring, TX. You will lead customer service efforts, support store partners, and help drive sales goals while maintaining merchandising standards and POS proficiency.

The role emphasizes leadership, product knowledge, and teamwork within Boot Barn’s values-driven environment. Expect diverse shifts, with opening/closing duties and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, time management and organization skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 10% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Become an expert in our product categories; communicate product knowledge to the customer.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals (UPT, ADT, add-ons, info capture).
• Maintain knowledge of promotions and advertisements.
• Assist with merchandising, floor moves, displays, and store housekeeping.
• Process merchandise and monitor floor stock replenishment.
• Complete all sales transactions accurately at POS registers.
• Develop skills and improve metrics by partnering with store leadership.
• Complete opening/closing procedures and comply with Time and Attendance policy.
• Adhere to local, federal, and state laws and company policies.
