Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead and enable a team of associates, delivering the best possible customer experience. You will coach, train, and delegate daily tasks while ensuring safety and coverage across the department.

The role includes both customer-facing and non-customer-facing duties, with opportunities to influence merchandising and store operations. Availability across shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years of experience in a retail environment.
• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• 1 year of experience supporting Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams (with or without direct report responsibility).
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates; cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience using store computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite; able to obtain required licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of associates to deliver the best possible customer experience in the store.
• Delegate tasks, monitor daily activities, and ensure department coverage and performance.
• Oversee customer-facing and non-customer-facing tasks and store safety responsibilities.
• Communicate best practices to the team to drive sales and service objectives.
