Plaid is seeking its first dedicated Sales Engineer for Regulated Industries to partner with Enterprise AEs and build this function across Public Sector, Education, Healthcare, Utilities, and more. You will translate Plaid’s solutions into real-world use cases across payments, identity, fraud, onboarding, and income verification.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in customer-facing technical selling or enterprise consulting.
• 3+ years in regulated industries (Public Sector, Healthcare, Education, Utilities).
• Experience leading complex evaluations and RFIs/RFPs with Account Executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical advisory from discovery through post-sale handoff.
• Partner with AEs to tie technical capabilities to business value.
• Lead discovery, demos, architecture design, and RFIs/RFPs for payments, onboarding, income, and fraud workflows.
• Run hands-on API pilots and POCs, defining success criteria and guiding integration tradeoffs.
• Coordinate privacy, security, and compliance reviews; surface requirements early.
