Job summary

Dollar General in Celina, OH is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operate a cash register, stock and rotate items, and support the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cash register and process payments accurately.
• Understanding and following safety policies and store procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer purchases, collect payment, make change, bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate items on shelves, and build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, mop floors, stockroom, and assist with sidewalk displays.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties of Store Manager or Assistant Manager in their absence.
