Job summary

Dollar General Lead Sales Associate position in Ohio focuses on delivering superior customer service while maintaining a clean, organized store. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock merchandise, and help with displays, under the guidance of the Store Manager.

The role expands to acting in a lead capacity when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is unavailable, ensuring smooth daily store operations and drive for profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate a cash register and perform cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership and assist customers.
• Operate cash register, itemize purchases, collect payment and give change.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves; build displays.
• Keep store clean, take out trash, and help with sidewalk displays.
• Open/close store under direction of Store Manager.
• Fulfill duties in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
