Dollar General Lead Sales Associate position in Ohio focuses on keeping a clean, customer-first store while assisting shoppers with locating and purchasing merchandise.

You will operate a cash register, stock and rotate merchandise, and help maintain planograms under the Store Manager's guidance. This role requires strong communication, safety awareness, and reliability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations including percentages.

• Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment and give change.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves and build displays per planograms.
• Clean the store, take out trash, mop floors, clean restrooms and stockroom.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties typically performed by Store Manager in their absence.
