Job summary

Dollar General Corporation seeks a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, well-organized store and deliver a customer-first experience. You will assist customers, operate a cash register, stock merchandise, and support the Store Manager in daily operations.

Responsibilities include superior customer service, following planograms, merchandising, and safety practices to protect assets. Previous supervisory experience is preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment and make change.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves; build displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; mop floors; clean restrooms and stockroom.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
