Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to uphold a clean, customer-first store environment. You will assist customers, operate the register, stock displays, and help protect company assets while supporting store profitability.

In the absence of management, you lead the team and ensure operations run smoothly. Applicants should have a high school diploma and some supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Stock and rotate merchandise; build displays and maintain planograms.
• Clean store; take out trash; mop floors and tidy restrooms and stockroom.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager; act in lead capacity in absence of managers.
