Job summary

Medtronic is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Surgical Robotics. This role focuses on selling the Hugo RAS System and related services across hospitals, building coalitions with executives, and navigating long sales cycles to close opportunities with passion and persistence.

The candidate will travel extensively, engage budget-holders, develop business cases, and tailor proposals to highlight clinical and economic benefits, while collaborating with internal teams to expand robotic surgery

Qualifications

• Minimum education as listed; 10+ years sales experience with medical/operating room background or 8+ years with Associate’s, or 6+ years with Bachelor’s degree.
• Willingness to travel region 50% or more.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Medtronic Medical/Scientific Equipment within assigned geographic area to meet/exceed targets.
• Develop relationships with hospitals, physicians, and surgical staff.
• Create business cases and proposals for purchasing decisions.
• Deliver workshops, presentations, and contracts to customers.
• Maintain deep technical knowledge of Hugo System and coordinate with internal teams.
