Job summary

Medtronic is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Surgical Robotics to lead direct sales of the Hugo RAS System and related services across the assigned territory. The role requires building coalitions within hospitals, navigating long sales cycles, and driving opportunities to closure with persistence.

You will develop targeted sales strategies, engage hospital executives with business cases, and collaborate with internal teams to expand robotic-assisted surgery adoption.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales experience in medical and/or operating room environments.
• 3 years of dedicated capital complex selling required.
• Ability to travel region assigned (50% plus).

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Medtronic Medical/Scientific Equipment within an assigned geographic area.
• Develop, build, and strengthen relationships with hospitals, physicians, and staff.
• Create compelling business cases and provide guidance on total cost of ownership and contracting.
