Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain, CT is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (RN, CRL, CNL) for the Family Birthing Center on the night shift. You will supervise patient care, clinical staff and unit operations to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, family-centered care around the clock.

This leadership role requires a BSN, CT RN license, BLS, and at least 2 years of acute care nursing experience.

Qualifications

• BSN required; CT RN license
• 2 years of acute care nursing experience required
• Registered Nurse, State of CT; BLS from American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care, clinical staff and unit operations.
• Oversee daily operations including off-shift and weekend supervision.
• Manage resources, payroll, schedules and patient throughput.
• Promote safe, therapeutic environment and staff development.
• Lead Performance Improvement initiatives in department.
