Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and supervise unit staff.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required and provide shift reports.
• Complete charts and physician orders; transcribe orders and document care.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of resident information; ensure safety of equipment and supplies.
• Perform IV care and other professional nursing duties as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
