Job summary

Helia Healthcare of Salem is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to lead and support care teams in delivering high-quality resident care at our Illinois facility. You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensure medications and treatments are administered safely, and advocate for residents’ comfort and well-being.

Ideal candidates hold a current Illinois RN license, with experience in long‑term or geriatric settings, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach to care planning.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license is required.
• Experience in long-term care, acute care, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to lead and mentor staff.
• Ability to read and interpret medical documentation and policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead LPNs and CNAs to deliver compassionate resident care.
• Assess residents, document changes, and communicate with physicians.
• Administer medications and carry out physician orders.
• Assist with admissions, evaluations, and care plan implementation.
