Job summary

Helia Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to lead and coordinate care for residents in a fast-paced, team-centered environment. You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, administer medications, and ensure accurate documentation and communication of patient conditions.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to policies, and ongoing education to maintain licensure and clinical skills. A strong focus on resident comfort and safe practices is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Illinois RN license.
• Experience in long-term care, acute care, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with leadership, residents, families, physicians, and the public.
• Commitment to continuing education and licensure maintenance.
• Ability to write nursing notes and reports clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide LPNs and CNAs with confidence and kindness.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Assess, document, and communicate changes in resident conditions.
• Develop and evaluate care plans that support wellness and comfort.
• Complete admissions and pain assessments.
• Notify physicians and families of significant changes in resident health.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and assist with light housekeeping when needed.
• Round with CNAs and provide shift handoffs.
• Provide thorough information to oncoming staff for a smooth transition.
