Qualifications

• A current, valid Illinois Registered Nurse license.

• Ability to read and interpret journals, professional materials, policies, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide LPNs and CNAs with confidence and kindness.
• Deliver resident care per standards of practice.
• Observe, assess, document, and communicate changes in resident conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders accurately.
• Develop and evaluate care plans to support resident wellness.
• Direct CNAs to ensure safe, respectful care per policy.
• Rounding with CNAs to ensure everything is in order.
• Provide thorough handoffs to oncoming staff.
