Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an RN - Shift Lead I for a part-time, day shift at St James Hospital in Butte, MT. The role provides leadership and clinical expertise on the shift, coordinating unit resources to match census and acuity, and acting as a role model for competency and professionalism.

You will supervise patient care, respond to emergencies, collaborate with staffing, and communicate with the Charge Nurse about admissions and discharges, while participating in department committees

Qualifications

• BSN degree required within 4 years or equivalent experience.
• Current Montana RN license is required.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and/or provides direct patient care and supports staff on the unit.
• Responds to patient emergencies and acts as charge/lead for disasters.
• Collaborates with staffing office to adjust staff for census changes.
• Communicates census, staffing, admissions, and discharges to the oncoming Charge Nurse.
• Participates in hospital committees and promotes mission, vision, and values.
