Intermountain Health seeks an experienced RN Shift Lead I for St James Hospital in Butte, MT. This part-time, day-shift role provides leadership and clinical expertise on the designated shift, coordinating unit resources to match census and acuity while supporting staff and maintaining professional standards.

Minimum qualifications include a BSN within 4 years (or equivalent experience), Montana RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program is required within 4 years.
• Current Montana RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Regular attendance on site during scheduled hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide direct patient care.
• Assist and support staff in addressing patient/family concerns.
• Respond to patient emergencies as charge or lead for disasters.
• Collaborate with staffing to adjust numbers during census changes.
• Communicate census, admissions, discharges to oncoming Charge Nurse.
• Support unit management in productivity and timekeeping.
• Participate in hospital committees as unit representative.
• Promote Intermountain Health values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• May float to other departments as needed.
