Job summary

Tenstorrent in the United States is seeking a CPU Verification Fellow to lead verification strategy for next-gen RISC-V high-performance processors. Hybrid role based in Santa Clara, CA or Austin, TX, guiding design through tapeout and post-silicon validation.

You will build scalable verification environments, drive test plans, coverage, and scoreboards, and mentor engineers while collaborating with architecture, RTL, and firmware teams.

Qualifications

• Deep experience verifying high-performance CPUs, including out-of-order and speculative cores.
• Strong knowledge of RISC‑V ISA, memory model, and vector extensions.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog, UVM, constrained-random verification, and assertions.
• Hands-on with CPU reference models and differential testing.
• Experience in formal verification and large-scale verification environments.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy for RISC‑V high-performance CPUs and subsystems.
• Drive verification planning for out-of-order, speculative, superscalar microarchitectures.
• Build and scale test plans, coverage, checkers, assertions, scoreboards, and constrained‑random environments.
• Verify core features including frontend, branch prediction, memory ordering, cache hierarchy, and coherency.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with architecture, RTL, performance modeling, firmware, compiler, and validation teams.
