Job summary

NBCUniversal's Technical Services division seeks a Manager to lead day-to-day operations, provide technical guidance, and ensure safe, high-quality ride and show systems across audio, effects, projection, lighting, and control networks.

This role supervises technicians, coordinates with engineers and vendors, develops training programs, and partners with HR to uphold safety and union guidelines. Requires engineering or related degree and 5+ years in theme park or theatre operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years of day-to-day operation of a theme park, theatre, or related business required.
• 3-5 years of operations management/team leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Ensures department understands and follows all company policies and procedures.
• Coordinates and assigns technicians to set up, install, repair, and maintain all equipment and venue operations.
• Maintains a documentation system for all attractions and ensures a daily report is completed for all activities performed during their assigned shift.
• Ensures all Ride & Attraction equipment maintains the highest level of safety in accordance with USH Policies, accepted manufacturing practices and local standards.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring as required to Ride & Attraction Technicians within the day-to-day detailed installation, test, and maintenance activities in the field.
