Job summary

NBCUniversal’s Manager, Technical Services (Rides & Attractions) leads the Technical Services Department for Ride & Attraction systems, ensuring safe, on-time installations, testing, and maintenance. You will guide technicians, coordinate with engineers and vendors, and ensure compliance with safety standards across our attractions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in theme park operations, strong leadership, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of day-to-day operation of a theme park, theatre, or related business.
• 3-5 years of operations management/team leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and assigns technicians to set up, install, repair, and maintain all equipment and venue operations.
• Maintains a documentation system for all attractions and ensures a daily report is completed for all activities performed during their assigned shift.
• Ensures all Ride & Attraction equipment maintains the highest level of safety in accordance with USH Policies, accepted manufacturing practices and local standards.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to Ride & Attraction Technicians during installation, testing, and maintenance activities.
• Oversees interactions with engineers, vendors, sub-contractors, and other third parties involved with show and ride systems.
