NBCUniversal is seeking an Assistant Director to lead the attraction technical/project management team at Universal Studios Hollywood. You will develop technical approaches for major elements and oversee execution with vendors, balancing safety, budget, schedule, and creative constraints.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of vendor management experience with significant in-field installation experience.
• 5+ years of related experience; theme park experience preferred in SAE or ride systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the attraction technical/project management team in developing technical approaches for major elements and provide oversight during execution with the vendor.
• Review and approve all ride/show scope of work and RFPs.
• Review and develop technical plans, enforce Universal specs and standards, and manage risk.
• Lead the project team to secure California DOSH sign-off for new attractions.
• Oversee ADA compliance for shows and rides and drive safety improvements across projects.
