Job summary

Universal Studios in Orlando seeks a seasoned Ride Systems Engineering Manager to lead the technical management of attractions, including budget and schedule oversight. Responsible for specification, bid/award, design, production, installation, and acceptance testing of Ride and Show systems such as Audio, Projection, Lighting, and Mechanical components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent demonstrated skill and experience; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and high-quality ride equipment as per Universal specifications.
• Guide design, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning of ride/show systems.
• Oversee vendor contracts, directives and change orders; manage project communications.
• Lead cross-functional coordination with facility, construction teams and vendors.
• Own scope of work documentation and contract awards based on technical requirements.
• Monitor engineering quality and risk related to Ride systems.
