Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Manager, Technical Services (Rides & Attractions) to lead the daily operations and long-term plans for the Rides & Attractions team. You will guide technical support for Ride & Attraction systems including audio, effects, projection, lighting, and show control, ensuring safety and high quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of day-to-day operation experience in a theme park, theatre, or related business.
• 3-5 years of operations management or team leadership experience; or equivalent.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Ensures department understands and follows all company policies and procedures.
• Coordinates and assigns technicians to set up, install, repair, and maintain all equipment and venue operations.
• Maintains a documentation system for all attractions and ensures a daily report is completed for all activities performed during their shift.
• Ensures all Ride & Attraction equipment maintains the highest level of safety in accordance with USH policies and local standards.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to Ride & Attraction Technicians in installation, test, and maintenance activities.
