Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer in Aurora, OH to lead RF-based medical imaging system design and development. The role requires hands-on analog/RF circuit design, PCB work, and cross-disciplinary collaboration with mechanical, systems, and regulatory teams.

The candidate will mentor junior engineers, drive technical decisions, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Biomedical Engineering.
• 5+ years in electrical engineering with RF/medical devices.
• Strong knowledge of analog and RF circuit design.
• Experience with PCB design, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with IEC standards and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, and support of RF-based medical imaging systems.
• Design and analyze analog/RF circuitry including transmission lines.
• Use CAD and simulation tools to optimize designs.
• Coordinate system integration across electromechanical subsystems.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical reviews.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
