Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to lead the development of complex electronics assemblies from concept to production.

You will design high-performance digital and mixed-signal hardware for RF, telemetry, and communications, using FPGAs, microprocessors, and other programmable devices. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of board-level electronics experience, and a proven track record moving hardware into production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of experience designing, analyzing, and testing board-level electronics.
• Experience with high-reliability hardware for aerospace/defense/space or mission-critical apps.
• Experience designing multilayer boards with high-density and high-speed architectures.
• Familiarity with signal integrity and power integrity analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complex electronics assemblies from concept through production deployment.
• Design high-performance digital and mixed-signal hardware for RF, telemetry, and communications.
• Develop circuits using FPGAs, microprocessors, microcontrollers, memory devices, and other programmable tech.
• Create schematics, component selections, and documentation for advanced electronic designs.
• Design and optimize multilayer PCBs with high-speed and RF considerations.
• Perform analyses such as signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal assessments.
