Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, RF design, medical devices, or regulated industries.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and RF circuit design principles.
  • Experience with electrical design, simulation, and modeling tools.
  • Understanding of electromagnetic theory, transmission lines, antennas and RF technologies.
  • PCB design, testing, validation and troubleshooting experience.
  • Familiarity with product development processes and design verification.
  • Root-cause analysis and corrective-action experience.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience in medical devices or regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and support of RF-based electronic systems for medical imaging.
  • Design and analyze analog and RF circuitry including high-frequency electronics and signal transmission.
  • Use simulation, modeling, and CAD tools to develop and optimize electrical designs.
  • Perform system integration to ensure performance across electromechanical systems.
  • Conduct validation, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for field/production issues.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, systems, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams throughout the lifecycle.
  • Support compliance with safety, performance, and regulatory standards.
  • Lead technical reviews, drive engineering decisions, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage multiple initiatives while ensuring quality, schedule, and technical objectives.

Lead Electrical Engineer

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the design, development, testing, and support of advanced RF‑based electronic systems for medical imaging applications.
  • Designing and analyzing analog and RF circuitry, including high‑frequency electronics and signal transmission systems.
  • Utilizing simulation, modeling, and CAD tools to develop and optimize electrical designs.
  • Performing system integration activities to ensure compatibility and performance across complex electromechanical systems.
  • Conducting validation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action investigations for field and production issues.
  • Collaborating with mechanical, systems, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Supporting compliance with applicable safety, performance, and regulatory standards.
  • Leading technical reviews, driving engineering decisions, and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Identifying opportunities for innovation, product enhancement, and continuous improvement.
  • Managing multiple engineering initiatives while ensuring quality, schedule, and technical objectives are achieved.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, RF design, medical devices, medical imaging, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and RF circuit design principles.
  • Experience with electrical design, simulation, and modeling tools.
  • Understanding of electromagnetic theory, transmission lines, antennas, amplifiers, oscillators, and related RF technologies.
  • Experience with printed circuit board design, testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of engineering product development processes and design verification practices.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and drive effective corrective actions.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience within medical devices, healthcare technology, or regulated product development environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of IEC standards, reliability engineering, Lean methodologies, or continuous improvement practices preferred.

Location: Onsite in Aurora, OH

Salary Range: $80,000 0 $120,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job‑related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
