Job summary

Responsibilities include administering treatments, monitoring equipment, documenting progress, and educating patients and families while maintaining infection control procedures and compliance with state licensure.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist licensure.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Possesses and maintains an active CRT or RRT credential.
• Current ACLS and BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions per plan.
• Assess patient pain and coordinate with nursing for interventions.
• Document data in the patient record after pulmonary program activities.
• Operate and inspect respiratory therapy equipment and ensure safety.
• Contribute to care plans and patient education with families.
