Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to provide direct and indirect patient care across home, office, and hospital settings. The role involves training, mentoring, and acting as a subject matter expert for the team while ensuring equipment delivery and service quality.

The position requires the ability to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot devices, and manage documentation with HIPAA-compliant processes. Travel within the service area is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department Staff and Program Managers to provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with appropriate equipment and masks.
• Conduct patient follow-up calls and visits to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Communicate instructions and processes to patients in a professional, informative, and appropriate manner.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA guidelines and complete required training.
