Job summary

AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to provide comprehensive direct and indirect patient care across home, office, and hospital environments in accordance with policies and procedures. You will train staff, assist with equipment setup, and ensure high-quality service for respiratory patients.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, maintaining documentation, and staying informed about current respiratory programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license from state of residence.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department staff to provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with appropriate equipment and masks, with clear instructions.
• Conduct patient follow-up calls and visits to ensure optimal care outcomes and escalate urgent needs.
• Perform routine maintenance and small repairs per policy and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
