Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to provide direct and indirect patient care across home, office, and hospital settings. You will train staff, troubleshoot PAP equipment, and ensure efficient delivery of goods and services while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, patient follow-ups, basic repairs, and supporting reimbursement documentation. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Medicare-certified HME environment preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide equipment instruction and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up PAP equipment and masks with clear patient instructions.
• Conduct follow-up calls/visits to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Perform routine maintenance and simple repairs per policy and guidelines.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and complete required paperwork.
