Job summary

Cornerstone Residential is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and ensure property standards. You will supervise staff, schedule work orders, and coordinate with the Property Manager on budget and outside contractors.

The role requires HVAC, plumbing, electrical knowledge, and weekend/on-call availability. Join a property management team focused on safety, cleanliness, and functionality across a diverse portfolio in the western and mid-United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' general residential maintenance experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years' supervisory experience.
• HVAC Certification.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and energy management systems.
• Certifications/licenses as required by local, state, or other regulations.
• Must have reliable transportation, maintain auto insurance, and have a valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work on-call as scheduled and work weekends and after hours as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule maintenance activities for the property and maintenance staff.
• Supervise maintenance staff and communicate assignments and major tasks to be completed.
• Complete and evaluate the daily/weekly completion of all work orders.
• Coordinate, schedule and respond to service requests.
• Establish priorities for service requests and assign tasks to staff.
• Repair/replace appliances, plumbing, and HVAC/electrical systems as needed.
• Create schedules and be available for after-hours emergencies.
• Inspect vacant units during make-ready activities.
• Manage maintenance budget and supplies; assist budget process.
