Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience, preferably with lead or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential heating and cooling systems.
• Experience with furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and related equipment.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, installation instructions, and equipment specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead a crew and communicate effectively with homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform residential HVAC system installations, replacements, and changeouts.
• Install and connect furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, ductwork, thermostats, and related equipment.
• Serve as the primary contact for the installation crew on the jobsite.
• Read and interpret installation specifications, equipment manuals, and job requirements.
• Ensure installations meet codes, standards, and safety procedures.
• Size, layout, and modify ductwork as needed; complete piping and electrical connections.
• Start up and test equipment for proper operation; troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and mentor helpers.
