Job summary

Vinfen is seeking a Lead Residential Counselor in Massachusetts to support management and serve as shift lead for behavioral health and residential services. You will provide individual and group support to persons served in their home, teach skills, and promote independence, self-advocacy, and community integration.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating ISP/PSTPs and clinical programs, maintaining records, transporting individuals as needed, and ensuring safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CPR required within two weeks of hire
• First Aid required within two weeks of hire
• MAP required within 150 days of hire
• Safety Care required within 90 days of hire
• Positive Behavioral Supports Tier II required prior to hire
• NET required
• May be asked to obtain CBIS (Certified Brain Injury Specialist)

Responsibilities

• Assists individuals in the home in becoming fully integrated into their communities, and developing and maintaining friendships.
• Assists individuals in accessing community-based support and resources.
• Plans recreational and social activities that promote social inclusion and emotional well-being.
• Empowers individuals to make choices and be actively involved in decisions about supports and lives.
• Provides training and support in rehabilitative and behavioral interventions and monitoring.
